Everyday its a new, challenging combination of barbell, DB, KB, gymnastics and cardio movements that are guranteed to push your fitness to the next level and make you stronger, faster and leaner. This class will eliminate the routine and challenge each participant each and every session to be the best they can be — making it the perfect application for committed individuals regardless of experience and conditioning who is looking to become leaner, stronger, faster, fitter and more confident. Rather than working muscles in isolation, these workouts will target the entire body. The community that is formed when people do these workouts together is a key component that makes SGPT so effective. By harnessing the natural camaraderie, competition and fun of sport yields unparalleled intensity within the class. If you want to lose weight, build muscle and increase functional strength and fitness — this is the perfect choice for you. These classes are usually performed solo and will push you to your limit, physically and mentally.

Starting Strength is the perfect first step for young people to get involved with fitness and build a strong foundation in their movement practice. Participants will learn the fundamentals of strength training with a strong emphasis on proper technique in exercises like the squat, deadlift, bench press, overhead press, pull-up, and more. With the guidance of experienced coaches, participants will build confidence and progress at their own pace, all while having fun and building skills that will be invaluable in all future pursuits.

This class will focus on the essentials to gain a step on the competition-- working on building speed, power and endurance while focusing on movements that will keep Athletes safe throughout the season. Our sports specific training class specifically designed to build a strong foundation to give your young athletes an edge in their sport. We focus on proper movement patterns, to keep athletes safe all season -- while also building speed, endurance, strength, power, mobility and confidence.
Classes take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday @ The House from 4:00-5:00pm year round

Girls of Strength

Introducing Girls of Strength - A strength and conditioning program specifically made for young females 8 - 18 years old. Not only will this program help build a solid fitness foundation, but will educate and empower young women to help them have confidence and strength they can carry with them into adulthood. Whether they are a first timer, an athlete, or a young female that wants to become more fit, Girls of Strength is for them! All fitness levels are welcome. Coach Stephanie and Carolyn will incorporate a properly designed, supervised training program that can help your young athletes train, compete, and reduce the likelihood of injury. Most importantly, we will provide each participant with the tools necessary to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle into their adult years. Girls of Strength will focus on strength training using barbells, dumbbells and kettlebells in order to improve muscular endurance, power production, and speed/agility. Athletes will start to jump higher and farther, run faster, and squat heavier - all with good technique and proper form. Full program details are listed below. Yoga at The House Barbell Club is designed to meet the needs of everyBODY. No experience or flexibility required. Modifications for individuals from beginners to athletes. This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to create freedom in the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on mobility, balance and deep stretching. Regular yoga practice can improve flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination. It can also help relieve chronic pain, lower blood pressure, and reduce stress and anxiety.
